Skill Up Skillet is 1 Year Old! It’s giveaway time!

Can you believe it? Skill Up Skillet is one month away from its first blogversary! I don’t know about you but I feel like celebrating. Shout it from the rooftops, we’ve made it! Coincidentally, our one year blogversary falls on the exact same date Star Wars: Episode VII hits theaters. No, I didn’t plan that. Really. I promise. This is the first post. Right here.

Naturally, you know what that means. Surely you must know.

No? Well.

Skill Up Skillet is hosting its very first giveaway! In keeping with the holiday theme we are giving away one (1) Star Wars Death Star Waffle Maker! Why just one? I could be logical and say, “Well, with the first blogversary comes one prize, the second with two prizes, and so on…”

Realistically, I did buy two. I just wanted the other one. Badly. And I’m making Death Star waffles tomorrow for breakfast because I can.

Also I will send the winner an exclusive waffle recipe to go with it. With silly drawings. (Again, because I can.)

Unfortunately since I only host Skill Up Skillet for free through WordPress.com, that means I can’t enter the giveaway script here. I can only afford to maintain my domain and rhyme about it occasionally. Thus, the official giveaway will be hosted through Skill Up Skillet’s Facebook fan page. I’m dreadfully sorry about that. I don’t have a choice in the matter, I’m afraid.

The giveaway starts 12:00am on 11/18/2015 and ends on 12:00am on 12/18/2015 and you can enter multiple ways. Interested? Go on, click the Facebook Skillet Shroom to take you directly to the giveaway. You know you want to.

  2. Hi Leisel, am I being completely thick? (Which is entirely likely!) How do you enter? I’ve looked at the Facebook post but unsure whether your entry is classed with a ‘like’. It then directs you back here. And also, it is only open to US folks, what with shipping being priced and all?

    1. Hello! If you click the Facebook Shroom it will take you directly to the giveaway page then you can enter there. I’m probably a nutter but I’ll ship the waffle maker wherever as long as it’s legal.

      1. Yay to shipping anywhere (although you should be spending your money on a Star Wars ticket!). I originally clicked via the shroom and it takes you to a post on Facebook that has a link… That brings me back here :/
